PdC Cross Country runs at pair of meets

The Prairie du Chien Cross Country team competed in two meets last week with the first being the Ryan Zimpel Memorial Invitational in Boscobel on September 10.
The PdC boys team placed sixth out of 17 teams with 154 points, while the girls team placed seventh with 180 points.
For the boys team, Sam Kramer was fifth (17:42), Spencer Foley 15th (18:31), Treyton Reames 25th (19:02), Lane Henderson 50th (20:43), Landon Smith 59th (21:41), Joey Kramer 71st (23:08) and Finnian Stafford-Johnson 74th (24:31).
The PdC girls were led by Karly Kramer in 20th place (24:34), Kate Gebhard in 22nd (24:48), Allison Mathies in 31st (25:55), Madelyn Coffield in 49th (28:46), Autumn Ziegler in 58th (29:59) and Katelyn Mathies in 66th (34:18).
The Hawks ran at the River Valley Invitational this past Saturday. The boys team placed 11th out of 18 teams in the Small Schools Division with 267 points, while the girls team was ninth out of 16 teams in the Small Schools Division with 265 points.
S. Kramer placed ninth in a time of 18:01 to once again finish first for the PdC boys. He was followed by Foley in 19th (18:31), Smith in 76th (20:59), Henderson in 82nd (21:20), Reames in 90th (21:35), J. Kramer in 104th (22:50) and Drew Becwar in 123rd (29:14).
In the girls race, it was Tannah Radloff leading the way for Prairie du Chien. Radloff finished 38th (23:30), followed by Gebhard in 56th (24:42), K. Kramer in 58th (24:47), A. Mathies in 69th (25:35), Coffield in 78th (27:09), Ziegler in 101st (29:38) and Katelyn Mathies in 109th (32:40)
The Hawks return to Boscobel this Thursday for the annual Boscobel Night Run before returning home to host the Prairie du Chien Invitational one week later.
