PdC XC teams fifth, sixth at Platteville meet

The PdC Cross Country teams competed at the Dick McKichan Invitational at UW-Platteville last Saturday and came away with a pair of top ten team finishes. The boys team placed fifth out of 11 teams in the Small Schools Division with 125 points behind a pair of top 10 individual finishes by Sam Kramer (seventh place in a time of 17:41) and Spencer Foley (10th place in 17:57). Also running for the Prairie boys were Treyton Reames in 24th place (19:06), Landon Smith in 38th place (20:08), Lane Henderson in 46th place (20:52), Garrett DeHart in 58th place (22:10) and Joey Kramer in 59th place (22:14).
The Prairie girls earned a sixth place finish out of nine teams in the Small Schools Division with 153 points. Senior Tannah Radloff was the leading runner for the PdC girls, finishing the race in 21st place in a time of 22:42. Following Radloff in 27th place was Karly Kramer (23:52) and Allison Mathies in 28th place (24:13). The Hawks ended the race with Kate Gebhard in 31st place (24:49), Autumn Ziegler in 46th place (28:03), Chaya Blackburn in 53rd place (30:07) and Katelyn Mathies in 54th place (31:15).
Prairie du Chien Cross Country will run in a pair of meets this week. The Hawks competed yesterday at the River Ridge Invitational at Badger Camp and then will conclude the week on Saturday with the Wisconsin Dells Invitational at Christmas Mountain Resort in Wisconsin Dells.
