Central softball keeps battling for first win of the year

Central softball continues inching towards the first win of the season coming up just a bit short in a handful of games last week, but the offense showed a spark of life that might indicate things are starting to turn around for the Warriors.

 

The week started with a double-header on the road against the Clayton Ridge Eagles with Central dropping both games by the scores of 8-5 and 14-6. No additional stats were available for this game. 

 

The Warriors took on the West Central Blue Devils in a planned double-header on Wednesday night, but weather limited the series to just one game, which the Warriors lost 18-9. No stats for the Warriors were available. 

 

Central has a pair of double-headers this week, starting on Monday against the Turkey Valley Trojans, followed by a series at home versus the North Fayette Valley TigerHawks on Wednesday, June 18th. Game one is scheduled for 4:00pm and game two is penciled in for 6:00pm. The Warriors wrap the week up with a road trip to take on the Starmont Stars on Friday, June 20th with action starting at 6:30pm.
