Micheal “Mike” Dean Stegen, 70, passed away Dec. 31, 2025, in Manchester, of natural causes. Mike was a Christian, a father and a husband.

Visitation was Friday, Jan. 9, at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Strawberry Point and before services at the church.

Funeral services were Saturday, Jan. 10, at Mission in Christ Church in Strawberry Point, conducted by Pastor Jason Cooper.

Visitation was Sunday, Jan. 4, at Morris Funeral Home in Guttenberg and before services at the church.

Funeral services were Monday, Jan. 5, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Guttenberg, conducted by Rev. Paul Kwaku Ameyaw.

LaCretia Jean Graves, 91, of Cedar Rapids, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 1, 2026, at home.

Memorial service was Tuesday, Jan. 6, at Murdoch Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Marion. Visitation was before services at the funeral home.

Burial was at Oakwood Cemetery in Monticello.

Karen Joyce Havlicek, 87, went to her heavenly home to spend Christmas with her husband, Robert and daughters, Cindy and Sally on Monday, Dec. 22, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer.

A celebration of life will be held Friday, Jan. 2, 2026, from 1-4 p.m. at Center Street Bar and Grill, Monona.

A small family graveside service will be held at a later date.

Funeral services were Saturday, Dec. 20, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Garnavillo, conducted by Rev. Gary Hatcher.

A celebration of life will be held on April 12, at 1:30 p.m. at The United Methodist Church of Guttenberg, followed by a reception at The Marina’s Visitor Center at 715 S. River Park Dr., Guttenberg.

Visitation was Sunday, Nov. 23, at Morris Funeral Home in Guttenberg. 

An inurnment service will take place at a later date in Forest Cemetery in Oskaloosa.
