Funeral services will commence at 1 p.m. with burial to follow at Clayton Cemetery in Clayton.

Donald “Don” J. Boardman, 68, of Guttenberg passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at his home in Guttenberg.

Visitation will be held from 4 – 6 p.m. on Friday, April 12, at Morris Funeral Home in Guttenberg.

Don was born on March 5, 1956, in Manchester, the son of Ralph and Rita (Wachter) Boardman.

Harold R. McMillin, Jr.

Harold Robert McMillin, Jr., 78, of Guttenberg, passed away unexpectedly on March 2, 2024. He faced many health challenges in his life and fought each one with resilience and courage.

A celebration of a remarkable and impactful life was held on Friday, March 8, and funeral services were on Saturday, March 9, both at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Guttenberg.

Pastor Harold was laid to rest at a private family service at Norway Lutheran Church, St. Olaf.

Kenneth A. Schwietert

Kenneth A. “Kenny” Schwietert, 70, passed away on March 7, 2024, in Sebring, Fla., with his wife, Helen, by his side, following a long battle with lung cancer. He lived well beyond what could be expected due to an early diagnosis and treatment starting in 2014 and continuing until his death.

Services are pending at First Presbyterian Church in Lake Placid, Fla.

Services are also pending at Colesburg Methodist Church in Colesburg.

Philip Daniel Hogan, 79, passed away after a battle with Alzheimer’s on March 5, 2024, at the Edgewood Convalescent Home in Edgewood.

Funeral services were Saturday, March 9, at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Colesburg, conducted by Rev. John Haugen. Visitation was before services at the parish center. 

Burial was in St. Patrick Cemetery.
