A celebration of life will be held at a later date. The Erickson Funeral Home in Darlington assisted the family.

Visitation was Monday, June 3, at Morris Funeral Home in Guttenberg.

Funeral services were Tuesday, June 4, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Guttenberg.

Visitation was Wednesday, May 29, at Morris Funeral Home in Guttenberg and before services at the church.

Funeral services were Thursday, May 30, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Guttenberg.

Robert H. Dohse, 94, of Garnavillo, passed away Sunday, May 26, 2024, at Tower Living Center in Garnavillo.

Visitation was Saturday, June 1, at Morris Funeral Home in Garnavillo. 

Funeral services and burial followed the visitation at Clayton Cemetery in Clayton.

Rita Mary Gerner, 100, died May 19, 2024, at her residence in Guttenberg with family at her side. 

Funeral services were Saturday, May 25, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Garnavillo, conducted by Rev. Marvin Bries. Visitation was was before services at the church.

Burial was in the church cemetery.

No services will be held at this time.

He was born March 7, 1942, to Christopher and Rose (Hildebrand) Bauer.

Visitation was Friday, May 17, at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Edgewood and before services at the church.

Funeral services were Saturday, May 18, at St. John Congregational Church in Garber, conducted by Pastor Pete Buschmann.

A memorial gathering was held on Sunday, May 12, in Elkader. There will also be a celebration of life on Saturday, July 13, from 1-4 p.m. at the Charter Oak Community Hall, 33 Main St., Charter Oak, IA.

Graveside services were Tuesday, May 7, at Woodlawn Cemetery, Oelwein, conducted by Pastor Dave Byrd.

Inurnment was Woodlawn Cemetery, Oelwein.

Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home in Oelwein assisted the family.

Lois Ann Muench, 92, of Cedar Rapids passed on into the presence of her Saviour on April 24, 2024. 

Visitation will be Saturday, May 4, at 10 a.m. at King of Kings Lutheran Church in Cedar Rapids. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m., conducted by Reverend Navurskis. 

A private family burial will take place in Guttenberg.
